MTNN Bunkoban #11 Showcase/Review

Been meaning to share this for ages oops

So this is the one volume of Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro that I own; it's volume 11 of the bunkoban editions, which are smaller but thicker.

It comes in a slipcase with really nice cover art; we have Sasazuka on the front and Neuro blended in the background. Sasazuka takes the cover because, well, it has THAT chapter.

Under the slipcase the cover is blank, wjich is a bit disappointing, but it is nice and smooth, and the pages are good quality print. No colour pages though unfortunately.

It covers a good chunk of the New Bloodline story, with the end of Genuine, the fishing story, and then the harsh twists and Yako getting comfort from Aya. It also actually includes one of the pilots at the end!

The back cover has messed up Ishigaki overlayed and the extra slip d Assassination Classroom with Koro-Sensei on it ^^

I've read through this volume a couple of times; I have some simple Japanese and my knowledge of the scene from scanlations let me go through it fairly well ^^

Meanwhile the story of how I got it is a little funy actually ^^;

I was in Japan at the time with my brother and aunt, and during our short stay in Tokyo we stopped by Akihabara because I was a huge nerd of course. My aunt stayed at a cafe I think, and my brother and I looked around a bit. We came to a big manga store, K-Books (pretty sure it is Kinokuniya) and I decided to look for MTNM. I was really happy when I found it on one of the display tables, but it was right under the sign for the 18+ section which was very...revealing. i had to go right over to the section and get an eyeful, since it was next/behind the section of table this was one. My brother had a good laugh at me and told our aunt so I got a bit of teasing lol

I really hope to get more volumes and turn it into a collection, but I originally chose this one because it has an iconic scene and I thought I could live with just that at the time, since I couldn't afford more back then.
