#Barometz The Barometz is a creature that is half plant, half animal, and roughly shaped like a sheep. It eats through the use of its long roots. Like a plant it is not ambulatory, so when its food source is depleted it dies. Once dead it can be eaten by wolves in the wild or by humans. When picked, the barometz lets out a horendous screech, and blood wells from its severed stems. It tastes like crab meat. It have hooves that are made out of hair, and fleece all over its body which can be spun into yarn and made into clothing. The barometz lives in the Far East. It may be related to the Mandrake.
Another name for the Barometz is the Vegetable Lamb of Tartary.
