Physiology

Bnahabra are neopterons meaning that most of the time they will break apart if killed with a regular weapon. The way to carve them is to kill them with poison, although they can not break apart when killed sometimes, although this is very rare. Their stingers can cause paralysis to hunters if stung by it. They have a large red shell on their neck for intimidation. These monsters are very similar to the Vespoids from Monster hunter Freedom Unite.

Ecology

Bnahabra are usually found in groups flying over liquid areas such as the mud area in monster hunter three as well as the lava lake in the volcano region. They can also be found resting on walls until disturbed, but there is usually only one around when this happens. These creatures are not disturbed by large monsters and will still attacks hunters even if one is around.
