So while I was editing things for my MHRise OC, I started wondering if I should make my OC its own thing rather than having it be locked to the world of monster hunter.
At first I was thinking, since my OC is a shapeshifter, if I should make him shape shift into an original monster based on Nargacuga instead of just straight up a Nargacuga. Then I started wondering if I should just make my own world and story rather than being locked to the monster hunter world.
Honestly I’m not sure what to do or why I’m just now second guessing myself. I’ve put a lot of work, time, and effort into making this OC but I’ve never felt like I actually had a plan on what to use him for. I always said I wanted to make a comic one day but to be honest I’m not the best at storytelling.
I guess my question is: should I turn my OC into something original or should I keep him as is? Also do you guys have any suggestions on what I can do with my OC?
