Well as my beloved knows about this but actually Vanitas was destroyed because of you he actually wanted to become part of light and not darkness but I only see people ship it is because maybe like the whole Vanitas to Sora thing he wanted to be saved he didn't want to become darkness forever....Ventus stop him his heart was never restored.... but seriously it's just kingdom hearts the shipping doesn't always make sense.... in my Opinion

Actually vanitas wasn't born in darkness when he was first seperated from ventus he was practically identical to Ven except for appearance he only later became the evil guy you see in bbs bcuz of how his life was without ven and having to deal with that constant feeling of being alone and wanting nothing more but to feel what ven felt since while xehanort left poor vani in the keyblade graveyard alone he left ven with master E , aqua , and terra i can tell you about his backstory if you'd like but if not then cool
