Properly Introducing My OCs, Part 5: Scarlette!!

Hello! First off, today is my third anniversary of being a member of MMD Amino. I ed MMD Amino on July 24, 2017! Despite that I vanished for most of my time here, I still am happy to be a part of an awesome community! Thank you honey buns for putting up with me! To celebrate, here is another OC Introduction post! This one is wordy, so again if you’re into reading, please enjoy! :heart:

Alrighty!! This lovely person won the poll I posted last week, so let’s introduce her!

Scarlette, also called Scar!

Scarlette was born on February 19th, 1996 as an only child! She is part Spaniard (her mother is from Spain) and is born with heterochromia, a genetic mess-up when two eyes are completely different colors. She got her green eye (and freckles) from her father, and her hazel eye (and dark hair) from her mother. Scar was originally born and raised in Albany, New York, then she later transferred and moved to Virginia to get her degree, while also finding love!

Scarlette is a very warmhearted and very sweet person. If she does something wrong, it would be very hard to stay mad at her or hold a grudge against her. Her favorite color is yellow, solely because she thinks that it’s a happy color, according to color study. Her favorite flower is a sunflower because of how big and beautiful it is.

Scar loves tea and coffee, but she leans towards tea. Her favorite tea is earl grey with honey. Her favorite coffee is a vanilla latte. Her favorite food is a pesto linguini with meatballs (oddly specific, but she loves anything with pesto). Her favorite dessert is a lemon tart. Besides it being yellow, she also loves lemons which are also yellow.

With Scarlette being an only child, she didn’t have many people to look up to, except for her parents. She also didn’t have many friends when she was younger, mainly because she had two different colored eyes and she had freckles all over her body. Not a lot of children liked that. Most of them thought that she was “weird looking” or “ugly” so they would bully her for it. The bullying never phased her as she grew up. Why? Her parents always told her that she was beautiful not matter what. They also told her that whoever calls her “ugly” are jealous of how she is confident with how she looks, and how they wouldn’t be if they were to be in her shoes.

Henceforth, Scarlette ignored every amount of hate thrown her way growing up, whether it‘d be her looks, or what she did that made her happy, or her just being very smart and intellectual in her classes. It showed that she wasn’t the jealous type or the stuck-up type. She knew that she was different and she was beautiful and the people around her were different and beautiful, too. She never liked to gloat or make people feel inferior to her. She was and still is very openminded and down to earth.

Scarlette has dated numerous times after high school and during college. She’s had three boyfriends (including her current one) and one girlfriend. Her first boyfriend and lover named Vincent only liked her for her brains. Plus, he cheated on her, and they only dated for a month. Later, she came out as bisexual when she continued going to college. Scarlette’s parents didn’t know until she brought her girlfriend named Sharidan to meet them and she came out of the closet to them then. They weren’t upset or angry. Rather, they were happy for her. Happy that she built her confidence up so much to where she could love anyone without shame, fear, or judgment. Sadly, the two girls broke up. Sharidan only liked her for…y’know....I won’t say it here, which made Scarlette uncomfortable and heartbroken.

Scarlette then dated another boy named Andrew (Indiana, who is currently her doting fiancé. They both came out to each other as proud bisexuals back in October 2018 and have been together since November 2018. They got engaged in February 2020 and will be getting married in September 2020. As of when I’ve posted this, they have been together for over 20 months.

Scarlette always had a ion for writing and painting. For most of her high school career, she devoted her time to writing love stories and painting landscapes and body studies. After she graduated high school in 2014, she spent her first two years of college taking art classes. She earned a degree in Fine Arts in 2016. She wanted to focus on art first. She made it a goal for herself that if she were to stay in a relationship for a year at least, she’d paint a picture of her and her lover together. She did just that a few days before her and Indiana’s one year anniversary last year.

Scarlette then took college for four more years to focus on her writing, but still kept up her painting as leisure classes. She developed an interest in not only the romance genre, but also mystery, drama, and fantasy genres. She’s had a thing with elves and fairies ever since she was a young teenager. She hopes to write books and sell them to anyone who are interested in the same genres she’s in. She graduated with a degree in writing, and she now currently works alongside her fiancé in his dad’s cafe as a sandwich baker, waitress, and cashier.

Although Scarlette has been bullied as a child for how she looked, she doesn’t like to wish ill-will on anyone or look the other way when someone who bullied needs help. Since she never let the bullying get to her, she has always been inclusive and very inviting. She can be forgiving, if she feels that one’s apology is sincere and comes from the heart. She never tolerates bullying on other people, however, for she can empathize, somewhat. She loves to see diversity — race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality wise — and equality amongst people and strongly dislikes hate and discrimination.

Scarlette can be very protective, especially with those who treat her like family as she didn’t have much friends growing up. The only true friends she had and still have in her life are the people who are part of the Honey Bun Squad alongside her, especially her fiancé. With that said, she does everything to protect them and stand by their side as they would do the same for her.

Scarlette has a great sense of humor, although, she doesn’t tell jokes often. She’s about to be married into a family that jokes a lot, so she finds them, especially the brothers, hilarious. Like Illvetta, she is lighthearted if she were to tell jokes.

Scarlette’s favorite pastimes are writing, painting, drawing, and cooking. She can sing and dance a little, only when her favorite songs play or when Indiana plays a song that he and she knows on the piano. Her utmost favorite pastime is skating! She knows how to skateboard, longboard, roller skate, ice skating, and rollerblade. Out of all, longboard skating and ice skating is what intrigues her. One day, she hopes to longboard with Indiana (as he already knows how) but also teach him how to ice skate.
