Personality description

Karys has a confident, stoic aura about her which makes her unlikeable to most people when they first meet her. Due to her upbringing, Karys has been conditioned to behave in cruel and violent ways towards others and can be extremely manipulative to get what she wants by all means necessary. She rarely exhibits sympathy or empathy for others and struggles to understand other people's emotions. Karys is logical, but also fairly unpredictable, sometimes acting erratically and breaking down into fits of paranoia and anger. Despite her almost psychopathic demeanour, Karys can and does care about people, although it is very rare.

Inherited from her mother Tanya, Karys has the ability to conjure and manipulate fire at will.

Tarkatan teeth and jaws

Maybe not so much of an ability, but definitely an asset in a fight. Inherited from her mother Mileena, Karys has Tarkatan teeth and jaws. Although her teeth are not quite as prominent as Mileena's (Karys has lips), they are more than enough to kill and injure opponents. Karys can easily tear through flesh, and even crush bones, including skulls.

Edenian magic

Inherited from both of her parents, Karys possesses Edenian magic. She can use it to teleport short distances at will and summon weapons.

Relationship: almost non existent. Although Karys knew her mother, Mileena, during her childhood, she was often busy with her duties, so her memories of her mother are fragmented and faded. However, she thinks very highly of her mother and believes she was the rightful Empress of Outworld, and its best ruler yet. Mileena was executed by D'vorah on behalf of Kotal Kahn when Karys was a preteen.

Relationship: toxic but ed fondly by Karys herself. Tanya raised Karys in a hostile environment, and taught her daughter the cruel behaviours that she currently displays. As a result, being merciless to others comes natural to Karys as this was encouraged by her mother for as long as she could , and she knows no different. Tanya was executed by Kotal Kahn when Karys was a child.
