Alas, The Process Escapes Me

I know I said I wouldn't be posting content for awhile because of my MAPs, but I think I forgot to add in "consistently". I won't be posting consistently. Yeah.

I'm back after six days of no posts to bring you what I do best! Cat art. Thought I was gonna say just art, huh? Nope! As a beginning artist back in the day I specialized in only cats and for the past six years that's about all I featured in my art. It was only recently that I began drawing humans and I don't consider myself very good at them yet. But practice apparently makes perfect, and I am practicing a lot if the fact I haven't kept up my feline work in months now is anything to go by.

One of the MAPs I'm in for MLB features the cat-ified versions of every character so I thought now's as good a time as any to start up practice with kitties again! Lineless work, too. It's hard but very rewarding.

It surprised me how much of my process I've forgotten in the six months I haven't drawn cats linelessly. I struggled getting everything to look the way it used to and my anatomy has gone to heck. But I tried my hardest no matter how frustrated I got. So, ladybugs and gentlecats, I present to you: actual cat Chat Noir!

Edit: My sister and I realized that most of my lineless work looks like something that'd be on a shirt. Maybe I'll look into doing shirt design commissions in the future? Would anyone be interested?
