Cute Nether!

This is my version of the nether to fit the cute mobs challenge, I wanted to make the nether seem as unthreatening. I wanted to have a person there too so I decided to have Alex chilling on top of a nether tree.

This drawing took me around an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. I used my Wacom Cintiq 16 and Clip Studio Paint. I had around 15 layers, one for each component. For this I wanted to make the lava glowing and have the glow on the characters and tree as well.

The mobs I have included aren’t all of the nether mobs but the ones included are my favorite. I have included the New Strider mob, a Magma Cube, a Blaze, and a lone Ghast.
