Botania with Friends - The Yggrasil

Now, my armour has been my shield and source of invulnerablity. My resistance grew to a point where I could slay Gaia Guardian IIs on a regular basis.

But... she's showing her age, and I don't feel like I'm strong enough... so I looked into the next tier. There's three.

1. Terrasteel

It'd be common for most Botania players to reach this stage. It is formidable and is crafted out of Terrasteel ingots.

2. Alfsteel

An Armour Upgrade for Terrasteel using a stronger ingot and the nessecary template sourced from Witches and Evokers. Fully upgraded, it's Spottiscarfus' powerful armour.

3. Yggdrasil

This is the third and final tier. The strongest set in the mod and my ultimate goal. It requires a lot of materials and very powerful Runes from the Nine Worlds to create the nessecary template.

A Botanic Ritual is also required, as well as a bank of Mana to afford the costs. Which is why I made an expensive Mana Buffer out of Yggdrasil Ingots; A tier 3 ingot that needs Yggdrasil Shards out of 4 World Ash Branches and 2 Terrasteel Ingots.

World Ash Branches were a laborious task which required purifying Living Oak by the bulk so I created a rudimentary farm to do all that for me. :)

With World Ash Branches secured, I could focus on the Runes and they're... expensive! Who knew I had to find Enchanted Golden Apples, Totems, Dragon Breath, Netherite AND obtain Nether Stars for the 5 Runes! The rest of the resources were already available from my months of exploring or easy to source.

Gabu, added a convenient, if expensive, recipe for Enchanted Golden Apples; Because I'd have to explore the world by the acres to find just one of them and another for Dragon's Breath cos the beast was broken from a reset for some reason.

Eventually, I finally managed to obtain the first of 5. A Rune of Yr!

And then I made 3 more. Cos I have 4 armor pieces to upgrade. 4 Templates.

The four subsequent Runes were a bit cheaper but still needed Netherite, Totems and Scrap. I travelled through the Nether for Ancient Debris in my handy Biplane and obtained a lot of loot along the way. Gathering Wither Skeleton Heads too so I can gather the Stars.

Finally, a week later of sessions, I finally obtain the Runes, Alfsteel and Elven Steel Ingots to craft the Upgrade Templates.

As the last Rune of Yr transforms into the blue mythical template of the Gods, I grab four Yggdrasil Ingots and painfully removed my soul bound armor, dipping into a mortal shell only briefly, as I began the process of plating my mystical Alfsteel Armor...

to Yggdrasil...

A new wave of awakened power embalms me as my Helmet slips around my head. I felt quicker and stronger than before.

At last, Spottiscarfus can finally move on with the final stage of his project. To enchant his rings and merge four of his renowned blades into the most powerful Dwarven forged weapons in the world.

Also, not to mention that I can sprint super fast! Especially Soul Sand!

However, there was the hilarious side effect to the FOV that I had to adjust in the Disabilities settings.

I am glad to finally reach this stage and now I have to defeat a new, and much more powerful foe to obtain some of the most strongest end tier equipment as my journey through Botania Pledge continues.
