I feel like MGS is a rare case of military espionage. Because you can CQC-CQB or tranq enemies unlike popular FPSs. I never personally liked FPSs

For personal matters the Metal Gear franchise is all about stealth and getting through difficult situations and obstacles. With stealth you can get through anything with good timing. Even world travel is part of the Metal Gear franchise where you travel from world to world and know what clues and items to find when going on missions.
