Hello everyone! :relaxed:
This should have been my first blog here, but I didn't really pay attention to the news from the leader lol
Anyhow, I noticed it and decided to introduce myself to this community. Challenge is for everyone to do, so feel free to do it too
Lets begin!
Questions
:one: Are you taking Medicine/Dentistry/Nursing/Pharmacy etc?
I'm a 4th year medical student.
:two: Who inspired you to be doctor/pharmacist/etc?
Actually, for the longest time in high school I didn't know what I wanted to be and I strugled so much to figure it out. I was a straight A student so a lot of people suggested medicine. It sounded like a logical choice, so I decided to give it a shot. After almost 4 years, I think I made a right choice
:three: Your favourite medical subject
For now it's Pathology.
:four: Your favourite Medical related TV show
I don't watch those, I mostly watch Criminal minds, Mentalist etc.
:five: Your favourite medical term and why
Orthostatic hypotension, because before I started med school I never knew why sometimes when I would get up fast I would feel as if I'm about to out.
:six: Which organ do you find it fascinating?
Kidneys, because among other things, it also regulates the blood preassure if it drops too much.
:seven: One or more GIF/photo that describes your current medical school life

:eight: What do you aspire to be or specialised in?
I'm not sure yet.
:nine: What other things you're ionate about, besides medicine? Art/literature/music/sports. Tell us about it.
Kpop. I'm a huge BTS fan (ARMY). I also like anime. Sometimes I write fanfiction.
:keycap_ten: If someone else wanted to become a doctor/(med field), what are the pros and cons would you tell them?
Pros: you get to help cure the patients and salary is usually good. You have the chance to be part of medical researches so hey! Maybe you're the next big person to discover cure for cancer or AIDS :satisfied:
Cons: you are always tired and stressed and your social life usually sucks. Sometimes you ask yourself why do you even go through this and why do you study this. Lots of mental breakdowns. Yup ._.
So, this concludes my introduction challenge and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask in the comments
P.S. Thanks for the feature

Wow thank you! :grinning:
You can still enjoy life and be a doctor.
You just need to know how to balance studying and enjoying life
Sure. But I wrote that answer from my point of view as a student, how I currently feel.
