Should/can I switch grade 11 functions for grade 11 functions and applications? (ON, Canada)

So I have the option to switch from grade 11 functions to grade 11 functions and applications, and I'm wondering what the effects of switching would be. I'm a pretty busy guy with a packed schedule, and I didn't do very well on the unit 1 test (still ed, and was also sick all week) and I'm wondering if all this grinding is even necessary because I want to go into business, and I can still take grade 12 advanced functions with the university/college course as a prerequisite. Now, it means switching from a university course to a university/college course, so would I lose a university credit, and if so how much do those matter in the first place? I do intend to go to university, and a good one at that (considering UofT business at the moment), so I'm not sure how much I need this specific math course. For reference I go to school in Ontario, Canada for all regulations that apply
