Mathematical resources for you :heart:

Hello, fantastic mathematicians!

Let me begin this post by first sending my condolences to any who have personally struggled with the outbreak of COVID-19, I also send my gratitude to anyone who is helping fight the virus. Together as a world, we will eradicate this and be able to return to our normal lives, just to socially distant yourselves :)

School has been disrupted for many students across the globe, and I know how many of the senior high school students are anxious about how their results will be affected, predominantly their ATAR. I know as I am one of you. However, I have found many resources dedicated to helping with your math subjects.

Note! These resources are predominately for students within the VCE Curriculum, however, students doing other programmes may find some overlap with their course.

Websites to use for study

These are sites you can use for math study, for those pecky things you do not fully understand.

Khan Academy

This is a no brainer, this site is a non-profit organisation dedicated for students to receive high-class education. Not only does Khan Academy offer thousands of detailed videos on most math topics, but they also are providing free online schooling (However, this is mainly for American students only).

Math is fun

This site is perfect for students who get confused by the technicalities that come with math. Math Is Fun provides web pages on a variety of math topics from beginner math to advance.

Math Methods.com.au

This site is solely built to help students who currently take VCE Mathematical Methods Units 1-4. There are a variety of free resources to and if you are willing to pay, you can get some cool resources. However, the free resources should be enough.

This site provides a lot of resources for all mathematics covered by the VCE curriculum from General to Specialist Mathematics. There are tons of practice exams to from this site, I highly recommend it for revision.

Vic Math Notes

This site is dedicated for all Victorian math subjects from foundations math you learn in primary to all maths in the VCE curriculum it even has dedicated pages for 10A mathematics and year 10 mathematics. This site provides perfect revision and study material as well as tons of practices quizzes and exams. This is my go-to resource as it provides clarity and cohesion on all topics of math.

Edrolo

This site is provided by your school so if you do not have it, unfortunately, this will provide no help. However, if your school does offer it, I cannot stress how imperative it is that you use this resource! It has videos for every topic of math you cover in high school including practise SACs you can do as revision.

Official Practice Exams

These are better for exam revision but I will put them up here anyway in case anyone wants to access these sites preparing for VCE exams :)
