Tobias Caine - Originally named Thaddeus Moralis at birth in Patras, Greece (bouncing between Greece, with his mother, and Puerto Rico, where his Father lived), Tobias was raised to age 24 in his home country, as well as Puerto Rico before moving to the United States in order to escape some certain hardships that came with his line of work. To him, Tobias sounded better than Thaddeus in order to shake people off his tail, and changed his entire name on paper so that no one he had scammed from Greece or Puerto Rico could find him. His family and only closest of friends (including his employer), know him as Thaddeus

Tobias is a News Reporter, Media Specialist, and Amateur Hacker who was hired by Wilson Fisk (Approached by James Wesley) after the infamous Union Allied Article was first published. Tobias was hired for the sole purpose and task of keeping Fisk and his associates’ names, occupations and doings out of the Media and Public Eye. Caine specifically censors certain people, blogs, reports and Physical News Copies that might even hint to Fisk’s existence, whether it be by Hacking, Blackmail, Gaslighting, or simply…getting rid of people. Being a News Reporter himself, Caine often helps spread false information altogether throughout Hell’s Kitchen and it’s people.

≛ Due to his time on the streets of the not doing pretty sides of certain countries with not the greatest people, Tobias had learned how to fight, and surprisingly quickly got the hang of it too. Usually fighting with hand to hand combat, using certain moves that his friends, foes and Father had taught him. But Tobias realized he is much more skilled with a gun and the intimidation portion of hurting people.

Thaddeus’ childhood could only be described as rocky and difficult. When he was born, his father suddenly decided that he didn’t want him in the first place. It quickly became a legal battle between his mother and father which eventually ended up in split custody during the two. Tobias would spend many years of his life bouncing from his Mother in Greece to his Father in Puerto Rico.

In his Teenage years, Thaddeus had grown to the streets of both Puerto Rico and Greece, quickly learning that the only way to get around was from getting people on your side, and keeping them there. So Thaddeus mastered the craft of manipulation, lying, gaslighting and intimidation. He used the human psychology to his advantage, telling his ‘friends’ all the things they needed in order to side with him, and completely blocking out what they didn’t ‘need’ to know. Thaddeus did this to almost everyone, getting what he needed from what he had. Everyone except his Mother. But Thaddeus was only kept to Puerto Rico and Greece…’What would be accomplished if I broadened my horizons to places…elsewhere?’ And in his 20’s, Thaddeus declared his power hungry search outwards, and moved to New York City.

Tobias Caine was a new name dawned on to escape those who may be angry from his home countries, and to be further accepted into the world his goal was to manipulate, person by person. With his skills, Tobias quickly got a good paying job at a Tabloid Newspaper as a Reporter, quickly climbing up the chain and earning a reputation. As the years went by, Tobias was eventually offered a job as an even more well paying News Anchor/Reporter. Climbing up the chain and earning even more of a Reputation, catching the eyes of a certain Wilson Fisk ; the only one to see that the only news Tobias was spreading was Lies. After the first meeting between Tobias and James Wesley, he was hired for more money than he ever thought he would achieve. After many more years working under Fisk, he was known to his associates as one of the sole reasons why Fisk’s work and himself in general was kept so under wraps. Along with Fisk’s associates. Tobias remained loyal to Fisk for another couple of years, even when Fisk was incarcerated, released, and put under house arrest and working with the FBI. At the end of his life, Tobias was made an example of in his own news broadcast, shot point blank by the Fake Daredevil Tobias himself had the pleasure of meeting. In the end, Thaddeus was only a pawn in the game that was too big for him to see.
