                  ↳she can stop certain objects or living things on time for however long she focuses, changing from thing to thing. For example, a flower would remain alive and beautiful forever, needing only the focus of the time she freezes it in time. A person however, frozen in a movement takes constant focus. It also varies in type of freeze. She can freeze movements, making the person be temporarily like a statue, or freeze them in time, so that they're alive and moving but forever stuck how they were at the moment, in a certain age or state. The latter would take much more power and focus, and would most likely take a large physical toll on her as well as require constant maintenance. Its also limited to one thing/person at a time. If she were to try several things, for example two people at a time or even a whole town, the toll would be larger, to the point of even internal bleeding or heart issues. Its very bound to her mental state and focus, so in a moment when she's too emotional, it could cause potential accidents. On an extensive note and after a lot of practice, she would also be able to psychologically extend her powers, freezing a feeling for example such as pain or sadness, so that the person wouldn't feel it anymore. However, the consequences of doing that are unknown.

Bay isn't the most traditional of mothers, being the headstrong and too cool for school person as she is, but it works quite well in their own little dynamic. They are the classic gilmore girl pair, in which at the same time that they are mother and daughter, they are friends. However, Laura does nurture a feeling that she might not be the daughter her mother wanted, at the same time that she wished her mother was more of a traditional mom, so she wouldn't have to play that role for herself at times. Though of course, she never said amy of it out loud.

                  ↳ Celeste and Elio are twins, who were Laura's first best friends from the times of kindergarten, had been always very close to her. They were inseparable until different interests pulled them apart in the end of their middle school years. Though they are now estranged, she always wished she could rekindle their friendship.

                  ↳ The Bakers. What a family. Like the name suggest they... Bake, which is probably the main advantage of knowing them. Other than Baking they’re close with the Starks, more specifically Beatrice and Laura. They’re pretty much the second family, and since the bakers can actually be nice and care for the well being of a child (and a fully grown woman) it’s only right that they remain close, for both Laura’s and Bays sake. Eldest of the baker clan is Ben, who is of corse Bays strange friend she can’t get rid of. Kids wise there’s 3, Twins Teddy and Margo and then the half brother Barney. They get along with the Stark child, well at least one of them does.

But she never considered herself someone fit to be a mother. Until she went to Italy. Bay decided to live there for a while, get a break of the New York schemes and work simply for affairs of Stark Industries in a new filial they built in Rome. But the party girl never left her. In her nightly escapades she met a Man named Eric Starr, who'd also moved from the United States. They flirted back and forth for a few nights, until one night, it became more serious. It was however during her last few days in Rome, and so, their affair ended as quickly as it started. To say there were no feelings involved would be a lie, but she was never one to engage in serious, long term relationships.

When she came back to the United States, and days of sickness and headaches culminated in a positive test, things were confusing and hard but ultimately- determined to be better than her own biological parents and with the of family and good friends, she had the child. Nothing was ever really planned, she didn't prepare for a thing, but upon seeing the kid, a simple name came to mind: Laura. And there and then, she made a promise to try, try and be the family she should've had but didn't. And so she did. Laura grew up a traditional child, granted privileged chances like private schools. She and her mother grew to have a close bond and she made friends and acquaintances at school, perfectly regular. Though her mother worried, it seemed like her mutation hadn't ed on, and Laura was a normal child. By the time she reached the age of 8, it proved to be a lie. It was little accidents here and there, a fallen toy stopping in mid air, snow flakes around her, such things. She was utterly amused by the wonder of her powers, as her mother struggled. Bay was used to suppressing her abilities, but seeing Laura so amused and dedicated, she knew she had a find a way to instruct her.

So the physical training began. Light things for a kid, similar to martial arts and gymnastics, and with the help of a few people like the wizards, Laura got a bigger grip of her abilities, able to use them. (wip)
