Been working on this guy for a minute now. He's a part of a Spooky/Horror Au I've been working on.
This guys name is Preston Prescott, a varient of Peter Parker who lives in a 2080's New York. Basically it's a retro future-like universe but at some point during the 2000's the world kinda agreed to make the world feel more.. Old timey of sorts, basically combining old fashioned designs across the 1900's with mordern day technology.
In this world Preston or Press– Is a freelance photographer who brings his Doctor Venkman Styled humor & skeptism to any situation, always questioning what is about anything an eveything.
However as Spider-Man thats a very different story, like any Spider-Man he has a mixed rep with the New York. An in this would its no diffrent, he has Intrigued the Curious & Frightend the non-believers into madness, but has also made Allies and Enemies from places unatrual to this world of scientific curiosty!
This Spider-Man is New York's Moth Man, treated as a cryptid that haunts the neighbourhoods of New York than a vigilnate, how this is the case is because he has gone the extra mile to insure his suit isn't a costume at first glance. Nothing more than a shadowy figure with those glowing white eyes watching you.
However despite not being an actual monster, Press very much is supernatrual, being bitten by an enchanted spider, giving him access to the supernatrual elements.
