Strongest Avenger-MCU

Hey Marvelites Steeb here and today we have a discussion which has been going on for a while and that is who is The Strongest Avenger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Before we get started the contestants to gain this title will be listed below and they are:

Bruce Banner/Hulk(both versions)

Thor Odinson

Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange

Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch

Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel

The Incredible Hulk

The person with the most physical strength on this list Bruce Banners transformation into the Hulk allows him to gain superhuman strength, super leaping, superhuman durability, A regenerative healing factor, superhuman speed and superhuman stamina. While he was easily taken care of by Thanos in Infinity War, intelligence and tactics aren’t the Hulks strongest points, he’s a brute who only knows how to smash and this usually works as his opponents usually don’t have the strength to match his, but when it came to Thanos an opponent who actually knew how to fight and had a similar amount of strength to the Hulk he came out on top. Endgame’s professor Hulk wasn’t seen in action as much as the normal not so jolly green giant but he was able to harness the power of the 6 Infinity Stones just as Thanos did in Infinity War albeit losing an arm just as he did. Both versions of the Hulk have proven themselves to be strong but are they the strongest Avenger?

The God Of Thunder

Thor has always been powerful but his peak power was shown in Infinity War. He was able to survive the destruction of his ship caused by the power stone, survive the full force of a dying star, took out legions of the outriders and even got the closest to killing a Thanos who had all 6 Infinity Stones and could’ve killed him if he went for the head. Thor did eventually kill Thanos but it was too late and Thanos was weakened after destroying the stones. Endgame Thor after the 5 years was a drunk who wasn’t in shape like in Infinity War despite wielding Stormbreaker and his old hammer Mjolnir at the same time he was no match for 2014 Thanos who didn’t even have the Infinity Gauntlet or the stones at the time yet he nearly killed Thor.

Master Of The Mystic Arts

Stephen Strange came into conflict with Thanos on Titan after Peter Quill allowed Thanos to regain his senses after the heroes on Titan attempted to remove the gauntlet from his hand, Strange and Thanos went at it with Strange successfully countering all of Thanos’s illusions until his clone trick which Thanos saw through he did all of this without even using the time stone which he possessed at the time. However Strange saw what would happen when he looked into the future which is like having the answers to a test and we don’t know if this battle would’ve turned out differently had Strange not looked into the future.

Struckers Prized Pupil

Wanda Maximoff got her powers from an Infinity Stone the mind stone to be exact and has come into conflict with Thanos twice in the MCU but before that in Civil War she was easily able to control the mind stone with her powers and when on the battlefield for the Avengers Civil War, she was a formidable opponent for those who needed her . During Infinity War Wanda was strong enough to lift Thanos’s spinning wheels of death, killed Proxima Midnight and destroyed the mind stone in Vision’s head while holding back Thanos who had the other 5 Infinity Stones at the time. In Endgame Wanda’s power levels were off the charts as she easily dominated her fight against Thanos, destroying his Uru sword with ease and began to rip his armour off and was going to rip him apart and would’ve succeeded if Thanos had not seized fire on her.

One Woman Army

Carol Danvers has blown up multiple space ships during her time as Captain Marvel some of them even belonging to Thanos, another hero who gained her powers from an Infinity Stone, the space stone to be exact Carol came into confrontation with Thanos twice in Endgame easily overpowering him both times and stopped him from snapping a second time and didn’t even get a bruise from Thanos while fighting him. Carol also dominated her fight with him with Thanos only overpowering her at the last second using the power stone to blast her back, knocking her down.

The Strongest Avenger

While there are many great contestants to take the title for The Strongest Avenger I believe that title should belong too Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch as she would’ve killed Thanos and has previously held a Thanos off who had 5 Infinity Stones with only half her power as she was using the other half of her power to destroy another Infinity Stone, while Thor, Carol, Strange and The Hulk were strong none of them got close to inflicting the damage onto Thanos that Wanda inflicted on him.
