NANBAKA MANGA CHAPTERS

Hello everyone,

A few have been asking about the chapters, as it's been a while since we hosted any, so here's the official update.

A while back some reached out to the leaders and staff, after seeing comments from Sho Futamata on their Twitter. As the author and artist of the manga, they expressed dismay over paid chapters being hosted outside of Comico and issued a plea for people to stop.

It was originally intended that we would start hosting the chapters again once they were no longer paid, meaning they could be accessed on Comico by daily ticket or points. This changed after Sleepy Kat reached out to Futamata for further clarification.

For those of you who don't know, Sleepy Kat was providing English translations of the chapters on their When-will-i-sleep Tumblr and after speaking to Futamata regarding their work, they were told that Futamata doesn't want people reading the chapters outside of Comico, period.

In light of this information and out of respect for Sho Futamata, the decision was made to stop hosting the chapters in this community.

Sleepy Kat continued providing text only translations, to be viewed alongside the manga chapters on Comico, but as of the 28th October they have gone on hiatus. There is also an English version of Comico, but to our knowledge this is currently only available for the US.

One option that could be considered, is having someone translate summaries of the chapters and perhaps supply a few images, particularly of new characters when they are introduced or character redesigns. If anyone is willing and able to do this, please let us know.

It has been noted that some are sharing spoilers to the community. This is acceptable as long as, 1. They are not full chapters and 2. They are not shared outside the community. Please keep this in mind.

This is where we stand now and all the information we currently have. It has not been an easy decision to make and we understand that people are disappointed, but our hands are tied in this matter.
