Hey! I‘m Cloudy‘s girlfriend and I’ll be writing the blogpost for the Makerchallenge #mc1 today.
So... as the title suggests, we carved some pumpkins.
First, we cut off the top and pulled it out, to use as a lid for later.

Then we hollowed out the pumpkins, using mainly our hands and a tablespoon.

When we were done with the nasty part, we could finally start deg the faces of our pumpkins.
We started by drawing the outline for the eyes, using a little screwdriver; after that we carved them out, using a small knife and a scalpel.
This is Cloudy’s pumpkin...

...and this is mine:

After I had finished the eyes and nose, I started cutting the outlines for the mouth.
As you can see, I messed up a little bit.

I also had some difficulties removing the outer layer of the pumpkin, even though I had a scalpel.

Cloudy on the other hand didn’t have those difficulties, so his pumpkin looks wayyy less messy than mine.
To give it the final touch, he added some teeth...

...and a dripping tongue:

Here you can see our finished pumpkins, in the sunlight...

...and in the dark, with candles inside:

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed my post!
