I have no clue wether you guys me as an old member of the maker community considering the fact that my last post was posted over 2 years ago. I'm not new, just a little rusty from this awesome community 🤣

It came across my mind and I figured I could it again and check in again :sunglasses: Maybe I could share some projects and stuff I have made in the last 2 years that haven't been posted here. Like some cool gingerbread house and the completed working airpowered wooden model of a steamengine...

This is a homemade wallmount for my pc monitor. It's way easier to buy one, but we don't just make projects to obtain the outcome, half please is to tinker and making it itself.

Mounted on the wall

Finally mounted in a comfortable hight without having to stack a book under the original stand. And also making a lot of desk space. Neat!

Here are some pics of the wooden engine. It is a dream come true project that I worked on for like 2 years in school and at home. It has its own personal place in my heart...

I first built a little one out of scrap material at home then I wanted to build a bigger, and more beautiful/exclusive and more efficient motor model. I will post a blog more in detail with photos and video when it runs. A pleasure for both the eyes and the ears...

Woods used are: Wenge, teak, American cherry, purple heart and some birch (only seen inside the piston) The 2 very black parts are buffalo horn.

I think I'll revisit some project and post more about them in separate blogs. More info/recap of the wooden engine project can be found in an earlier blog 2 years ago: Engine recap and summary A summary of the 10 ish earlier building blogs.

Have a nice day!
