Hi everyone! How are you all? I am currently on vacation so I’ve decided to contribute more to fandom! As previous blog seemed to be popular I have decided to make second one this time comparing maybe not so popular Lord of Flies and Demon of Gluttony Beelzebub with his more popular otome game version. Enjoy~

About Obey Me Beelzebub

Beelzebub is the Avatar of Gluttony and is the 6th oldest among the seven romanceable demon brothers. He is one of the main characters in Obey Me! One Master to Rule Them All.

Beelzebub, being the Avatar of Gluttony, is always hungry and gluttonous. He fills most of his bag with food during travelling or stays in either places, as seen in Lesson 7-1 when Mammon criticizes his luggage size. He is easily bargained with food and will do any favors for those who promise to pay him with food. Despite his tremendous food intake, Beelzebub manages to maintain a sculpted body figure through exercise. His brothers tend to fawn over his figure.

He is emotionally mature and wants the best for his brothers. He dreams of a world where he can live happily without a care in the world with his siblings. He has a childlike innocence and is affectionate, hugging Belphegor as much as he can and asking if he could hold MC’s hand until he falls asleep.

Appearance wise, Beel only has three forms of clothing he uses just like all brothers. The first one is his casual outift, second is his RAD school uniform and the last one is his true demon form. For the sake of comparison with his MO counterpart I am going to only describe his demon form. I am sure you can easily google his other looks online.

In his demon form, Beel has a pair of black, ridged horns that curled around his head like a circlet. He wears a black shirt with a grey flame pattern on the right side under a black punk jacket with a high collar. The collar has a buckle dangling from it and two patches of gold spikes on either arm. The coat only came to halfway down his hips, a pair of insectoid wings visible from his back. He wears a pair of black pants with black cowboy boots and a white belt hanging off his hip.

More trivia: Despite being the youngest (excluding his younger twin brother Belphegor), he possesses great strength for he’s able to subdue Mammon and Levi, and nearly fought with Lucifer despite the latter’s great strength.

He refuses to eat Mammon and Solomon’s cooking (they both can’t cook just for record).

He plays Fangol, a popular sport in the Devildom that is similar to American football.

Naive and childlike as he can be, Beelzebub holds tremendous guilt and blames himself for the death of their youngest sister, Lilith. He thinks that Belphegor blames him for Lilith’s death and wonders if Belphegor could ever forgive him. He even asks MC as to whom they would save if they had to face the same choice.

About Makai Ouji Beelzub

Unlike with his game counterpart, MO!Beezlebub is the Northern Grand Duke of Hell, as well as the father of Lamia and the ex-husband of Astaroth. He nominated Camio as a candidate for the interim ruler.

Appearance-wise, this demon couldn’t be any more different (despite probably his height).

Beelzebub is a very tall man, with long pale blonde hair. He doesn’t seem to have any eyebrows, or they are hidden under his headgear. He has blue eyes that appear to be pupilless. Two brown horns curving backwards protrude from his temples are bit similar to Obey me!’s Beel but he wears a metal band around his forehead. He is also mostly seen wearing a long fur-lined coat and long robes.

In of personality, he seems to be a calm and collected individual. Unlike the other two kings, he is hardly seen politically strategizing with Camio. Although Astaroth and Lamia use bug repellent and a fly swatter on him, he seems unperturbed and always asks Astaroth to marry him again. Also fun fact: according to the fan book, he owns 100 cats.
