All 72 Djinns Ranked by Power

Known ones anyways- lmao. The main way I'll be conducting this Tier List is two main factors, versatility and who beats who. For example, Astaroth of Blue Flames would beat Amon of regular, and Baal who uses Lightning would be above Blue Flames. Simple process like that to make it unable to argue otherwise yk?

Goes without saying this SPOILS the Djinns and their related plots (small degree) btw

Anyways we'll go from weakest to strongest, starting off with the Djinns we know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT- Lmfao

28. Shax

Julius of Reim is the known of this Djinn, not even their magic type is known so there's genuinely no ranking them lmao, and even after 4+ years of having this Djinn buddy could never do a Djinn Equip :sob: :joy:

27. Gusion

Not suited for combat at all, Gusion is a Djinn used by Barbarossa from the Sinbad Manga that uses Gravity Magic to move tectonic plates. Op right? He can cause earthquakes and muck up any armies day, great for aoe or mes buildings but as far as a 1v1 goes he's useless and ranks at the bottom.

26. Phenex 🤤

Nothing is known about this Djinn aside from Koen Ren using them to heal others, and their race is some strong Phoenix looking bird. They use strength magic and are a animal species, so it's safe to assume they can punch pretty hard and with the regeneration the DE would be pretty annoying to fight. But enough damage to deplete the magoi and they'll be out for the count

25. Forneus

Used by Rametoto of Imuchakk, their magic is unknown however in Rametoto's DE he's seen covered in a thick muscular armor. This would easily go into Strength or Life magic and make them capable of beating the shit out of the earlier Djinns, so I'm putting him above them in of combat ability.

24. Alloces

Used by Darius of Sasan, this Djinn can generate extremely powerful shields capable of withstanding strikes of lightning! The specific magic is unknown, but it's probably strength due to it's non elemental yet solid nature. Darius is seen armored up in his DE, so it's safe to say he can use his Lance to hit hard and his defense is pretty crazy now that he's a fully fledged Metal Vessel . While Forneus could potentially have something stronger, with what we know Alloces is much more versatile and would beat Forneus in a fight just fine.

23. Ugo

Ugo!? Technically used by Solomon and then Aladdin, Ugo was a weak Magician in of fighting power and could only use Heat Magic to burn up opponents, also adept at Gravity Magic to fly really fast. If he was a Djinn it's safe to say he'd be on the weaker side, as his true strength is his intelligence, but that wouldn't make for a very good DE. However his heat would likely melt through any shield, and his extremely fast flying could dodge the attacks, so I'll put him here.

22. Dantalion

Not the most suited for combat, this is used by a Lord of Kou to teleport people around by creating portals that can also be used for making enemies hit themselves. Since this pretty much destroys the earlier Djinns fighting styles, I'll put Dantalion here since even if he's not fighting suited, he certainly would be too hard to hit and could easily use their attacks agaisnt them.

21. Purson

Used by the Supreme Commander of Reim, this water magic Djinn can do the basic water magic stuff, we never saw it used so who knows. It's obviously better suited for combat though, and since the other 2 water Djinns use cutting and blunt force this would likely be a technical type of usage that could outdo basic Djinns like the ones prior.

20. Vinea

Finally getting into ones we know about, this water Djinn is used by the Princess of Kou for giant wave attacks. Having amazing blunt damage and drowning capability through floods, you wield a natural disaster and plenty of cutting power to rip and bash most foes apart

19. Agares

Used by Koen Ren himself, this Djinn is a Manticore that uses Strength Magic to bend the earth itself and even summon volcanos! It can defend from most attacks, change the tide of a battle, brute strength through most opponents or just recharge Metal Vessels that use heat by summoning entire volcanos! Or use the volcanos for mass death- it's seriously a great Djinn that ranks well above the last ones mentioned.

18. Leraje

Used by another Lord of Kou, this female Djinn uses Strength Magic to enhance the size and power of its weapon to absurd sizes that can pin down giant dark Djinn monsters! With insane cutting power backed by extremely force, it's safe to say the earth attacks of Agares have no chance agaisnt this powerhouse.

17. Zagan

Surprising low, this Djinn is used by Hakuryuu with Life Magic to control and use Plants and the substances each can use, like poisons. It can even grow the bacteria from the air to create monsters, its an extremely powerful and versatile Djinn that can even heal most injuries, straight up replace a limb and make you immune to poison! If it gets cut, it simply mends back together, so the last 2 got no chance of beating it

16. Caim

Used by a inspiring middle aged man from Japan in Magi, this water magic Djinn focuses on the amazing cutting power of water and packs even more raw power than Vinea! Truly an upgrade, he is the most powerful water Djinn and can lift entire islands carrying them over vast distances, or even cleave right through metal with its super compressed water slashes that can travel long and wide! Even Zagan couldn't hope to compete with its overwhelming strength and endless cutting, outmatching it in stamina by so much Zagans versatility couldn't prevail.

15. Valefor

The only known Djinn with Ice/Snow, this water magic using spirit is wielded by Sinbad and boasts an exclusive ability that can stagnate the air itself to the point it slows its foes and makes them floating, or sitting ducks! It can even create ice shards, conserving magoi by crystalizing the moisture in the air, this intelligent and versatile Djinn is the true strongest Water Magic type, it just doesn't actually use water! Lmao. I'll explain why it's so much below Cerberus in its rank btw :joy: But between freezing any water attack, slowing its opponent to all hell, and having amazing stamina due to it's fighting style, Valefor outmatches the last few Djinns by a mile!

14. Vassago

Used by the King of Heliohapt, we actually don't know much of anything about this Djinn besides the fact that it uses sound! However the appearance of this King becomes half white half black, and sound magic can be weaponized to vibrate at high levels to shatter ice, scatter water, destroy plants, and even heat up the moisture with constant vibrations. With a magic like that, it directly counters the last few, and with its DE showcasing special focus on enhancing the sword it's certainly a powerful battle type

Note: Vassago is unknown and this is my speculation from seeing Sound magic in Magi, like Aladdins first staff destroying a borg and turning earth to DUST with a frequency. There's no way a Djinn couldn't monopolize that, and considering it's used by a King with a crazy drippy design I'd say this assumption is safe. Otherwise you can drop it toward the bottom in unknown, but I'd say this is definitive due to how sound magic is used outside of Zepar.

13. Amon

Sadly low, our wise and polite fire/heat magic Djinn used by Alibaba misses the top 10 by only a few. Without Alibaba's amazing BIQ, Swordsmanship, Magoi Manipulation, and special time dilation later on Amon simply isn't the most powerful on its own. It's flames however are extremely powerful and can be spammed without much drain, so it's safe to say it can overwhelm the earlier ones, so much so that Hakuryuu had to conquer a entire seperate dungeon knowing Zagan stood NO CHANCE!

While sound could rupture fire, and Valefor could slow it and ice it, Caim cool it or cut up the of Amon, Amon does have a special cutting ability. It's concentrated burning properly in its large sword could block and parry Caims strike and keep its hot, and would easily heat up the atmosphere past Valefors abilities. With Vassago, it's much closer, but I'd say Amon is much more useful in most situations and could outblast a sound

12 + 11. Focalor + Paimon

The only two wind magic ones, these two use it the exact same way and are used by Sinbad and a Lord of Kou respectively. Each using whirlwinding tornados to rip and slash opponents to all hell, you could argue Focalor is better since it takes less stamina, or that Paimon is since she can have 100 freaking Household . But their magic itself is pretty equal, and Hakuryus sister did just fine after some training, so with no further reason to believe one beats the other I got them equal.

In of fighting the last few Djinn, the absolutely overwhelming size and power of their attacks would snuff out flames and distort sound without question. The scale at which they blast wind and its overall cutting and tearing simply outclasses the previous Djinn by far.

10. Glasya-Labolas

Getting into the top 10 strong!!!! This Djinn is wielded by Barbarossa and uses Lightning magic to manipulate metals, magnetism! It's basically like mercury magic without the poison, and can create large amounts of metal from pre existing metal or summon it from thin air! It can defend from fire and wind alike, and hit much harder or even cut and stab at crazy levels! Even boasting a special ability to mess up someone's Metal Vessel if close enough, this Djinn is seriously in need of being animated

9. Astaroth

Named after quite the damn Demon, this is the strongest Djinn Koen Ren possesses and used blue/white flames so powerful it can easily do things at large aoe and power scales it took Amon crazy effort to! Blasting multiple dark Djinn to hell, it can melt right through metal with ease and blast at much bigger ranges than previous Djinn! This pure power is truly extraordinary and earns its spot right into the top 10 without need of any lengthy explanation

8. Vepar

Not seen much, this Strength Magic Djinn is used by Sinbad to turn into some sort of many sword wielding butterfly insect DE! Used when fighting God himself, it's safe to say spawning swords from thin air and shooting them at crazy speeds, flying at crazy speeds with huge winds, and using insect material to enhance one's strength and durability is far too fast and highly offensive for any previous element to blast away. Putting it nicely into the top 10 with a solid gap, it's truly a strong one

7. Baal

Guided by destiny itself, Sinbad of 7 Djinns lands his 1st Djinn at no.7 on my list. Using lightning magic the way you think, this power straight up allows you to blast things to all hell, skewering mountains and piercing the heavens, even striking a Titan sized sword down into the earth itself! This crazy attack power and aoe without much magoi drain puts Baal crazy high

6. Cerberus

Blan, what are you thinking!? After beating Baal, the of Cerberus, Queen of a country wielding Ice, Fire, and Lightning together to give Sinbad his hardest battle yet! Thanks to the stagnation of Valefor, she was caught off guard if beaten, however this 3 element blasting Djinn can equal out any of the other elements, and even possess a extreme magic that combines all 3 to create a devastating explosion! If Sinbad was using it instead of the Queen, it's safe to say Valefor or any previous Djinn isn't having a single chance. This thing is truly overpowered and Sinbad is lucky the Queen was too arrogant and blinded by its power to use it intelligently

5. Furfur

Using LIGHT MAGIC (finally right??) this Djinn generates fucking DARKNESS somehow and uses it to God knows what its opponents. Sinbad only used this in the literal battle for his life, so it's safe to say it's op enough and better than Baal with that alone, however aside from basic darkness stuff it's power isn't specified so this is as high as it can go. Between black holes and element negging though, this thing beats out the list so far without a question

4. Crocell

Using heat magic, this Djinn creates MULTIPLE SUNS around Sinbad and allows him to wield absolutely devastating attack power! If there's anything that can beat darkness it's the stars themselves, and Sinbad only used this Djinn in the battle of his life as well. Really though you could swap these two around infinitely based on speculation, so whichever floats your boat low-key. I put Crocell above Furfur though since Sun>Dark like 99% of the time though, lol.

3. Barbatos

Whaaaatttt? Ik ik, but hear me out, Barbatos can break a MAGIS BORG in 1 hit, move at speeds so fast its invisible, and has extreme magic that can cut through ANYTHING according to Muu. It uses Strength Magic and is wielded by the Leader of the Fanalis Corp, nearly killing Aladdin and only stopped due to being snuck by Alibaba. It's speed and strength are out of this world, with insane piercing and cutting power to boot, without any real way to catch the there's really no stopping it without help or some op ability. A person with average magoi could topple a country with this damn thing and it nearly got 2nd place, very worthy of top 3

2. Belial

This plot powered, absolutely broken Hakuryuu used, somehow life magic using Djinn is an absolute nightmare capable of removing your spirit from your body, effectively paralyzing you, changing your MEMORIES to disable you in battle, and even control your 5 freaking senses when close. It is vulnerable to elements and other attacks, however it's the king of attack power in of landing attacks, and if Hakuryu had more time to train it I doubt Alibaba would've landed a scratch. Seriously bruh, imagine if Sinbad used this thing ☠ Ohtaka deciding not to have this monster ever appear in the plot again proves me that she needed to let Aladdin shine vs Arba by keeping it gone until the final battle where it's powers were whatever due to uh, circumstances. :joy:

1. Zepar

Sadly, this cheap and cheesy Sound Magic using Djinn steals the no1 spot and is used by Sinbad. No other benefit besides screaming, anyone who hears its scream is pretty much at the mercy of its . You can command someone to simply fall asleep and leave them to fall to their deaths or stab them to death once their uncouncious, not a single thing stands a chance due to it's bs power. In a 1v1 it takes the cake vs any Djinn, your only real hope of beating it simply is being DEAF OR GOD. So yeah safe to say it wins ☠ :joy:

Conclusion

Most of the Djinns are more so useful situationally and serve to forward the plot in different ways, healing Hakuryu and Sinbad/Alibaba with Zagan, destroying OG Sindria with Gusion, healing with Phenex, or fucking up poor Kougyoku with Zepar. But in of 1 on 1's I'd say about half of them are pretty clear cut with just their magic types alone and overall scale of power/aoe as most are just elements with clear counters and superiors lol.

Like seriously, Vineas EXTREME Magic just got scattered away by Sinbads basic wind spell :sob: :sob: :sob: Water magic barely made it to top 15 lmfao. Anyways I hope you enjoyed seeing me go into some more depth with each of them and even taking my own, best intelligent and reasonable to Magis power system scaling with ones like Vassago and the other Sindrian allies we know less about.
