LOONA Subunit Challenge

Hello! So I had teaser photos for the for my #LoonaSubunit Challenge and I'll just place them here with their position and the original teaser photo. So now this final post consists of , tracklist, and further explanation on why I chose this and that.

Haseul

Main Vocalist, Lead Rapper

---> The thing is that Haseul's vocals are really good and her solo song, Let Me In, was really good with her vocals. Also, I placed her as Lead Rapper because she rapped in ViVi's solo.

HyunJin

Main Vocalist, Leader

---> Her vocals are on point too! In her solo and and Sonatine, she really proved that she had a lot of talent. She's leader because she's really underated... But I know that she would do well as a leader! Hope HyunJin gets more love. She's so pretty!

Kim Lip

Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer

---> She has very good vocals, but I don't think it matches up to the standards of the other two above. In Eclipse, it was danced based like the other of Odd Eye Circle, and she danced really well so I placed her as Lead Dancer.

JinSoul

Lead Vocalist, Main Rapper, Main Dancer

---> Vocals are awesome too! She's a main rapper because I do feel that out of everyonw in Loona currently, she's the best rapper. Her dance in SITR was powerful and showed off her dance skills really well!

TRACKLIST - DRAMATIC

---> All of the 5 songs here come from this mature concept group, 9Muses. Their music is really good and they are my no. 2 group. They had many member change and now they have 4 currently promoting, so I chose 4 for my Subunit Challenge too.

---> The album songs go in this order that actually tell a story about a girl's dramatic love life.

---> As all the songs were title tracks, tell me which one is more suitable to be the title track of this fake album I created!

1. Drama (2015)

---> Drama is about a girl who likes this guy, but her friend likes him too and it's going well between them. After a while, their relationship is not as strong so the girl feels like she has a chance but feels bad for thinking that way.

2. Lip 2 Lip (2016) - 9Muses A (subunit)

---> Lip 2 Lip is about a relationship between a girl and her boyfriend and it's going well. However, at the end of the song, there is this line "Your face is on the picture of my new boyfriend". If you watch the end of the MV, it's more understandable because the two friends show a picture of her with their boyfriend and it's the same guy. So it means that the guy is two timing.

3. News (2012)

---> News is a song about a break up. The thing is that I was contemplating between Hurt Locker and News, but since News was a little bit more vague about how the break up happened, I chose it so as to better continue my storyline.

4. Sleepless Night (2015)

---> Sleepless Night is about a girl who regrets breaking up with her boyfriend. She re the good times they had together, and how he cared for her so much and stayed by her side even though she kept whining.

5. Dolls (2013)

---> Dolls is about a girl getting over her breakup. She heals over time and lets everything go. This concludes the whole album from start to end about a girl's dramatic breakup.

By the way, the song description is a vague idea, so it might not be the entire story of the song.

Further Explanation

---> In these songs by 9Muses, there's this rapper called Euaerin, and her rap is extremely unique. In Sleepless Night, you can really hear her rap and it gets stuck in your mind for a really long time. It's not just a rap and it's just over.

---> Another rapper that ed in 2015 is Sojin. So I in was not a rapper at first, but had to become​ one for 9Muses A, and the final Main Rapper because Euaerin left. Sojin's raps are whisper raps, where she basically, raps whispering. Her rap is also very unique.

So then, I had to choose who I think would fit the raps best. JinSoul's rap in SITR really stuck in my mind, and I pictured her rap to be closer to Sojin's. Although Haseul is not exactly a rapper but she did rap, I decide to add her in. Although these two are not comparable to Euaerin, I felt that it was not bad already and since they're he 2 so far that have rapped, it was pretty good.

---> Also, there are 4 vocalists, past and present in 9Muses. Kyungri, Hyemi, Sera and Keumjo. Sera left quite early, and many people really loved her voice because it was strong and powerful. The other vocalists also have sweet voices. I would place Haseul near Sera, because her voice is actually really good, and HyunJin with Hyemi. Kim Lip with Kyungri and JinSoul with Keumjo.

---> I chose this based not only on the songs they have sung thus far, but they vocal power.

OK! Whew, spent so much time in this. Not that I really have anything to do now that exams are over. (yay!)

So maybe it seemed like I was trying to compare them and promote 9Muses.

When I was thinking about this I was rely thinking about who would be more suitable to sing these songs because I mean 9Muses has already done such a good job at the current songs.
