Sigyn flees together with Theoric and a few others from Vanaheim to Asgard. But escape to Asgard leaves its mark and Sigyn has to leave everything behind as her escape is betrayed. Only Theoric, Hagen, five and they themselves make it to Asgard. Her other ten companions die trying to protect her.
In Asgard Sigyn first vouches for her true identity and so it was Theoric the Odin before language. Sigyn hopes that if Theoric talks to Odin he would rather help their people, since Theoric was not Asgard's deputy but also one of Odin's advisers. But Odin refused to intervene or even help. Not even when Sigyn stepped forward her Tanug task and she asked the All-Father for help in the name of her people.
Frigga, who heard all about, realized that Odin was not quick to convince Vanaheim to help. So she did what she could do as Queen of Asgard in the situation, she asked for asylum and that should welcome Sigyn as her grandniece in Asgard. Since Theoric was also betrothed to Sigyn and he came from Asgard, a sacrilege would not do that.
Odin granted his wife's permission and everyone was allowed to stay in Asgard. When Sigyn went with Frigga, she ed Thor and Loki in the long corridors.
Sigyn: "I came to Asgard to ask for help for people and now I am a homeless person among a strange people"
Frigga: "No, you are the daughter of two worlds and in both worlds you are at home and your people will get the help they need"
