I have known Odin for a long time. His my husband and I cam read him. It was easy for me to tell he was acting differently with Loki. He was concerned that Loki would find out who he was. Odin never wanted Loki to know of his origin.

Did you know Loki was a frost giant? Were you ever going to tell him?
At first I didnt know. When Odin brought him home i didnt know he was a frost giant. It wasnt until winter when he wouldnt get cold that i picked up and asked Odin about it. He didnt want to tell me so I went to Heimdall and he told me everything. I didnt mind. Loki was a beautiful baby. I kept wanting to tell him but Odin put it in both my boys heads that frost giants were bad and evil. Loki hated frost giants as much as Odin did. I couldn't bare telling him and breaking his heart. I do regret not telling him and I do wish I told him sooner.

Plenty of times. But as thor was my first child, he thought I didnt have enough parenting experience to tell him what to do. So I always gave my children a kinder, softer more loving environment and spent as much of my time with them as I could. Most often contradicting Odins own parenting skills.
Is Loki your favorite, or do you like Thor equally?
It is wrong for a mother to play favourites. But as Odin give thor more love and attention. I tend to give Loki more love and attention. I love my children equally but sometimes. It is hard when you see one get left behind by their father, so you give them more love then they ever could need.
