Serene was a very nice, calm, collected optimistic kid who was taken by the ferry man, she was an orphan, her mother died from sickness, her father died from an accident, her cousin commited suicide. After all of that she still kept her calm demeanor. She was taken care by the Janitor. They had a neutral relationship they weren't friends nor enemies, she was the prettiest, and obedient child in the maw. Thats when The Lady got envious and jealous. She cursed her soul to be transferred in a puppet. The Ladys puppet. For now on she was used as a tool to entertain guests and such. She despises the Lady and criticizes her for this. But the curse wasn't enough. The Lady made her eyes squint, so she can't see that clearly. But her senses was heightened, such as smell, taste, and hearing.

But when she gets angered, it gets bad. It causes her to forcefully open her eyes, which cries dark, crimson blood, pouring down from the black, empty, sockets. She also screeches which is too loud, it can make ears bleed. After this she usually apologizes or pretends it never ever happened. The Lady doesn't mind this however.
