Let's talk:Why god modding ruins rps

ok,so I mean it might be because I'm extra livid today due to spechie's "self help depression video" but I recently left an rp and I wanted to explain why.But I've noticed a theme about god modding.

now some of you souls may be asking "Lmao peen what the fresh hell is godmodding" well god modding is when someone in an rp acts too over powered.

I mean it's not like I didn't enjoy the rp,there are some real sweeties in the chat.But when the chat starts turning from "oooo what will happen next" to "oh boy how will they MAGICALLY slip past our fingers this time" it starts becoming....repetitive.And repetitive,bores me.

This seems to bit of a problem in this amino.

Now I'm not saying your oc has to be written as if he he's written by Shakespeare himself and that every time he breathes it's some philosophical qoute.But I am saying that when you're oc can just randomly come back from the dead when another characters is litteraly quoted to tear them apart.

and I feel like people from that chat will call me a hypocrite cause mr.long came back from the dead in that rp.And yeah I kinda regret forcing someone to bring mr.long back,Frankenstein style.And of course I'm not attacking the god modder in the chat.

But the god modding actually seemed to affect my enjoyment of the rp.Thus I left.nothing against anyone but I slowly became more and more done with it.It became EXHAUSTING to get a few scars on this one person

And these two words will be main points in this post EXHAUSTING and REPETITIVE.Now I'm not saying characters with powers can't be fun to mess around with.

infact if done right can be enjoyable!

and the god modder actually asked to notify them if anything seemed too OP,which was nice.But idk if it makes me seem rude that I just LEFT.But I couldn't handle it.Another battle with the same ending and MAYYBBBEEE we'll hurt him.it gets boring.And this is why god modding can ruin rps.

ESPICALLY when dealing with characters you're supposed to fight

But what's the point of fighting if you KNOW you're not gonna win?

it just becomes a dog trying to chase it's own tail,a wild goose chase,running after the purple dragon.

they're gonna come back eventually.and thus the tail pops back up again.

and sometimes these ocs don't even fit little night mares,like,at all.

which starts the internal screaming of "WHY ARE YOU HERE??!?!?!"

But any who I'd like to apologize to those rpers.I honestly don't think I'm gone FOR GOOD.but I'm just,taking a break.I am sorry though if I came off as rude or hurt your feelings.
