PERSONALITY

⋆ On the outside Eden appears to be a cunning, sassy, in-your-face kind of girl. A melodramatic beauty, if you will. She presents herself to be provocative, often using snarky remarks and her own kind of sarcasm to help build up her own image. She also has a small goody-two-shoes complex, which causes her to be extremely judging of those who enjoy breaking simple rules and laws.

⋆ Eden was raised by parents who believed in trust and mutual understanding. Saying that alone could explain why the girl is still a little on the gullible side when it comes to things like pranks and blatant sarcasm. She tries to stay in line when it comes to rules and laws, as getting in trouble causes her obsessions to work overtime. Not only that, she values honesty despite being a semi-pathological liar when it comes to anyone asking her about her past. Eden worries about people figuring out that she has hearing impairments, as she’s been a victim of ableism throughout the majority of her school career. She also fears that people will always hate her over /something/, and that one day she might end up in jail. Eden deals with her fears by constantly working to show everyone that she is powerful. Unfortunately, she can never prove this to herself.

⋆ Though the girl may present herself as open, out there, and sassy; behind her snarky attitude is that of shame and insecurity. Eden was raised well enough to understand that blaming people will never get her anywhere, so most of the blame for anything that turns out wrong is toward herself. She puts herself down often and tries to change her entire personality. Usually she’ll put on the facade of an upstanding citizen for about two weeks before returning to her normal lifestyle. Eden hates it when people tease her, but, being the nonviolent person that she is, she prefers not to confront people about it. In fact, the girl prefers not to talk about her personal issues with other people, even if they know all her secrets.

⋆ She is extremely sensitive and vulnerable to attack, so when her walls are down and she opens up to people, she will become quite timid and silent. There are often times when her sassy attitude will shine through, but it’s usually less harsh and more playful. She loves affectionately teasing and joking around with her friends, but if she notices someone having a hard time, Eden wont hesitate to cut her shit and ask them if they want to talk. Although she is willing to offer free therapy sessions to those who need it, the girl as some triggers when it comes to extreme assault and hospitalization. Mentioning things like needles or feeding tubes or having bones broken by people will more or less send Eden into a small meltdown. Even then, the girl will try to conceal it for the sake of the other person.

⋆ When it comes to love, Eden is.. ionate. Affectionate. Soft. Caring. She will always try to make her lover happy, whether it’s sending memes to them over the phone or showing up at their house with a giant teddy bear and Starbucks hot chocolate. The girl will try to show that she loves her partner every chance she gets. Eden is always down to cuddle, and when it comes to giving consent, she is almost always willing to do so. She is devoted to her partner to the point where it could become toxic, as Eden is susceptible to being abused and manipulated by her partner. Heartbreak is absolutely horrible for the girl, but she is able to bear through the pain without any physical scars to show for it. She will become extremely spaced out and unresponsive for the first month or so after the breakup, though, and will need someone to be there for her.
