Plague Town [February Roleplay]

The town was quiet this day. The streets were empty, the shops stood unopened, and the butcher's corner was void of the usua, constant sounds of knife against wood. Wednesday's laundry fluttered in the light breeze, but even this was hushed as if, in this hour of death, was taboo.

Only five days had ed since the first townsmen fell ill. The sickness was a hasty one with little patience. It was not long until the little town of Burrow was barren. Yesterday there was a lone man who hobbled up and out of his boarded up home. He was old, and he was frail. Yesterday he emptied his last bag of kibble on his porch. Yesterday the old, weak man fed the horses in the paddocks, and when he was through with his tasks he staggered back into his house and never came out again. Today, the stench of death pooled in the doorway.

That was the end of Burrow.

Without their owners, the dogs of the plague town were left to fend for their own. Though lonesome without their human companions, the dogs of the old west were entirely capable of surviving on their own.

To the West lies vast, open plains littered with buffalo, pronghorn deer and various small game.

To the North sits a snowy mountain range. The base of the colossal formation leading upwards stands a forest filled with wolves, bears and wild-eyed cougars.

To the East, if one travels far enough, is a railroad that leads on to the big city. While there is plenty of food and work to be done, the city is no less shady. The train travels the route once a day.

At last, to the South sleeps an arid desert of little water, dangerous folk and plenty of life or death situations to be had. Choose wisely.

The Gang

Abandoned, confused, and struggling, the dogs of Burrow decide to form a disorganized gang in hopes that survival will come a little easier . Morals are out of the question now. Do whatever it takes to stay alive in these strange, unknown lands.

(the structure of the gang will inevitably shift overtime and Rets, your brutal king will eventually fall out of power.)
