~~What Is Linkin Park?~~

Linkin Park (LP) is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California. They gained popularity with the release of their debut album Hybrid Theory (which is a f**ing great album btw).

~~Hybrid Theory~~

Hybrid Theory was LP's first album. It was released in 2000. It included the singles "One Step Closer", "Crawling", "In The End", and "Papercut". The album's lyrical themes include problems that lead vocalist Chester Bennington dealt with throughout adolescence such as drug abuse and the divorce of his parents.

~~Meteora~~

In 2003, LP released their second album

Meteora. It included the singles "Somewhere I Belong", "Faint", "Numb", "From The Inside", and "Breaking The Habit". It's lyrical themes include depression, anger, and recovery.

~~Minutes To Midnight~~

LP released Minutes To Midnight in 2007. It includes my favorite song of all time "Shadow Of The Day" which is about a dying man who is trying to convince his loved ones to let him rest in peace. The album also includes "Leave Out All The Rest" which really hits hard now for reasons I'll explain later.

~~A Thousand Suns~~

A Thousand Suns was released in 2010. It is a concept album about human fears such as nuclear war. Its singles include "Iridescent", "Waiting For The End', "The Catalyst", and "Burning in the Skies"

~~Living Things~~

In 2012, LP came out with their next album Living Things. It was when this album was released when LP finally felt "comfortable in their own skin". Its singles included "Burn It Down", "Lost In The Echo", "Powerless" and "Castle Of Glass".

~~The Hunting Party~~

The Hunting Party is a departure from the electronic rock sound of the band's previous two studio albums, A Thousand Suns (2010) and Living Things (2012).

~~One More Light~~

Perhaps Linkin Park's most emotional album. One More Light was released in 2017. The album's title track was written for a friend of the band, who died of cancer. This is also the last album released before Linkin Park's vocalist Chester Bennington took his own life the year the album was released.

~~Chester Bennington~~

Unfortunately, on July 20, 2017. LP'S frontman Chester Bennington was found dead in his home at the age of 41. He had committed suicide by hanging. May his soul find the peace it didn't get on this Earth.
