Wether or not asexuals should be a part of the LGBTQIA+ community or not is always up for discussion. But even if you believe they shouldn't be a part of the LGBTQIA+ community or not doesn't mean that they can't celebrate Pride. If you weren't aware, being asexual means that you do not feel sexual attraction. No that doesn't mean you can't be in a relationship. People that lack romantic attraction are aromatic.

Asexuals aren't technically hetero because they seriously don't feel sexual attraction. Or they just don't get the same feelings as others while having sex.

So, if you're new to this term and this phrase let me answer all the rumors you've heard before about them probably.

•No, they don't reproduce through mitosis.

•No, it is not a phase and they will eventually grow out of it

•No, it's not because they haven't found the right person (this one frustrates me because they can be in romantic relationships! You can be in a relationship and that person is just your partner. Nothing else.)

•No, they are not broken mentally
