Wind

Soft winds

carry life along

each a leaf in its path

takes them where they belong

I could only hope

that our paths may cross again

briefly have I known you

and to keep you close,

is what I intend

So if we should be separate

here is what I’d say

“The wind does what it wants

and so we shall keep floating

but if you’d stay with me now

I would surely find a way”
