I know it's been a short time since we met, since I wrote you my thoughts and you accepted them,
for a moment you haven't left my head,
since we laughed and talked ,
smiles and numbers we exchanged ,
I found myself in your phone one day,
smiles and giggles from the silly things we say , which led to a phone call the most entertaining moments we had even tho we text through the days,
it led me to think today of what you once said,
I had a bright idea which sounds so cute in my head,
I'd ask you on a date, even if you say no I wouldn't regret,
tho I'm not sure of when, when the time is right and I'm sure it can be done,
I'll make sure u have a wonderful time, have your head in the sun,
it would bring me great joy for us to have a romantic night, it may be by phone but we can bring the moment to life,
so now I shall ask the words this poem was eager to say from the start, I just need this question to get out my head,
will you go on a date with me from listening to this poem from the heart, to watch us grow closer together, building that unbreakable bond,
I'm not sure what the future has in store for us, we don't have to think too far on the path to take, just enjoy the moments from the first to the very last , it definitely won't be a mistake
