i’m in debt

but this $60 sweater

could change all that.

no more funds

just crochet hooks

and thrifted scrap yarn…

$4 for all of these skeins

i rationalize with myself

you can earn it back

just one charge to your visa card

sometimes i think my impulsivity

will be the end of me

and this $60 sweater

that will forever change me
