the mirror is broken in half ,

a thousand pieces actually

i can’t seem to bother

looking at my reflection

the mirrored me

in each and every piece

smiling at myself

unhinged and not stopping

kind of mocking

looking me in the eyes

with such foolishness

believing i would find

a smile on my face

as my hands are sliding

over my face

finding tears dropping

down my face

and myself crying .

whoever that was

reflected and seen

in thousand pieces

it was not me ,

i just wish it was
