potato salad

plain ingredients

nothing special to anyone

but our hearts glim

start to burn whenever we see

what the ingredients together will be.

from salt and pepper,

mayonnaise or mustard,

cooked eggs and meat salad,

to radish and gherkins.

creating the foundation

of what is so wonderful

sadly unfinished though ;

potatoes.

our dear treasure to be added

cooked, cut and sliced

very flattened

then,

this dish will be ready,

to be our beloved potato salad.
