TW - mental illness.

I don't know what I'm doing,

Floating aimlessly on a pathetic little boat,

Far out to a sea of isolation,

And it's all my fault,

Because I've forgotten how to sail.

I can see those I love,

Small dots on the horizon.

But they don't see me,

They stand distracted,

Backs turned.

They have their own lives,

Trials and tribulations.

After all,

It is not up to them

To save me from myself.

So I step off the boat,

Let the dark water envelop me.

Perhaps the cold will numb my bones,

And I won't feel broken anymore.
