A palace, a home.
Somewhere I find solace, somewhere I don't have to show.
I don't have to impress, I don't have to be strong.
Somewhere to sleep while my hair is caressed, somewhere I can sing all my songs.
Somewhere I can laugh stupidly, and reject depression.
Somewhere I don't have to give my all solely, somewhere I don't have to give off a good first impression.
I want to rest there, I want to cry there.
I will do my best then, to get to that special somewhere.
And until I do, I won't lay down one moment.
My home, I will get to.
And then I will rest on a bed that is golden.
