'Normal' through Homophobia

I drew this to be a profile picture, but I changed that version up a bit. So now, this is to represent the struggles of acting normal when living a life filled with homophobia.

You see, I'm a generally 'happy ' person but with the homophobia around, it makes me feel as if being part if the LGBTQ community is a struggle, which it shouldn't be.

I love expressing my for my LGBTQ+ friends at school and I wear pins when in public.

But once I get home I feel like my life has turned to grey and Im stripped of all my happiness. As the rainbows dissapear from my body.

And sometimes homophobia holds me back, which in turn makes me hold back on expressing my sexuality or telling people. Because I know, generally, what comes with LGBTQ expression is homephobia.

Though still closeted to my family, I still try to be happy, and everyone should too ^•^
