Hello, My fellow gaymers its me Jazmin and today ill be showing and telling you guys about my latest creation! This creature was made for The Myths In The Making Challenge . Heres a link so you can catch yourself up :D Now without further adoooo lets get right into it!

What's the name of your mythical creature?

My Creature goes by the name Queen's maiden. It's really just the name of the species. It was given to them by humans. They have secret names among themselves but refuse to share their name with strangers or untrustworthy creatures.

What is your mythical creature?

My mythical creature is a Queen's Maiden in the sense that that's it species name.

Where does your mythical creature live?

My mythical creature is known to live in temples deep in the forest.These temples are abandoned and have forest life growing in and out of them wich is perfect for a Queen's Maiden. They enjoy being with only their type of species and plants.

Is your mythical creature friendly?

A Queen's Maiden is typically neutral in that regard. They won't attack unless they feel threaten or need to. They tend to avoid violence at all cost and will simply leave a situation when they feel threaten.

Can your mythical creature be a pet?

No, if they ever felt like they were in a situation where they could be considered a pet or captive it would be one of the few times they would resort to violence.

What kind of food does your mythical creature eat?

Since a Queen's Maiden is part plant and half human they would eat things like fruit and vegetables. Things that could easily be accessible like berries and fruit from nearby trees. They would also use photosynthesis in order to feed the plant part of their body.

What abilities does your mythical creature have?

A Queen's Maiden has the ability to heal themselves and other Queen's Maidens. They also have the ability to grow thorns out of their flesh when needed or when they feel threaten. They could transform their whole body into plants they have seen. Lastly, they could make trees and other plants grow or die if they wish so.

Give a description of what your mythical creature looks like.

My mythical creature is a beautiful maiden. These maidens are known to have a body resembling a female human. They have a white rose for a head and a singular eye in the center. They vary in size and height. They look elegant and have a pure look to them.

A Short Story In Order To Understand A Queen's Maiden More, This Story Is About A Unexpected Encounter Between A Traveler And Queens Maiden. Taken From The Travelers Prospective

Long ago there was a young traveler by the name of Simon. Simon was a traveler who was known for his trade. He would ride from town to villages selling and trading his goods to the locals.

He was a young man that had lived for 24 years. He was tall and slim. He wore brown boots, long high waisted tros the color of forest wood. He wore a white button up shirt. On his head a straw hat he had bought along the way.

Simon was on his way to his next village as he rode there he noticed a forest along the way. He decided to take a stop there to explore and even look for some possible herbs to sell. As he got off his horse he looked up at the sky and saw the sun trying to figure out what time it was. "I have time" he thought to himself. He walked into the forest looking around.

As he walked deeper and deeper into the forest he started looking at plants and herbs to get his hands on. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a field of small herbs growing. As he was about to reach out he heard what he thought was a small whimper.

He was startled at first. He looked around and noticed a white rose? He was confused until he relized the flower was moving! He continued to stare and slowly he started to see an eye...a singular eye! The eye was red and swollen. It was crying! "So that's where that whimper came from" he thought to himself. He slowly stepped out from where he was. Revealing himself to the creature.

The creature looked at him startled. A Queen's Maiden! He had heard tales and stories about them from locals but had never seen one himself. She and him held before she looked away. She looked scared of him. He looked her up in down noticing a small cut on her left shoulder. "I-I can help you" he said to her. She stepped back startled at his voice.

He stopped in his tracks seeing the fright in her eye. "How do I let her know I mean no harm" he pondered. Slowly he lifted his finger and pointed at his left shoulder. As to let her know he could see the injury on her body. She looked at him as she slowly hid her injury with her own hands. At that moment he knew they were on the same page. Slowly he reached for his right pocket pulling out some kind of plant.

"I-I could help you" he whispered as he put the plant over his imaginary wound. She looked at him as if he were insane but didn't leave. Slowly Simon started to walk towards her. He tried his best to do so slowly and calmly.

When he first reached for her shoulder she could not help but flinch. He tried again.

This time he moved extra slowly as if he were stuck in slow motion. Gently he moved the cloth around her wound, revealing it. He took a look, the wound was not deep but enough to spill. He moved his hands towards his bag and pulled out a container filled with water. He washed his hands. Slowly removing the dirt from his hands.

After, he reached into his bag a second time. This time pulling out some kind of medical herbs. He slowly cleaned the wound on the shoulder with some water. After he applied some of the herbs. He wrapped some cloth around her shoulder after applying the herbs.

She looked at peace now. Her eye was not as red as it was when he first encountered her. She looked thankful and slowly backed away. She bowed her head as a thank you sign. He smiled at her before looking away for a quick second to put all his materials back into his bag. When he looked back she was gone.

He smiled before turning back. He eventually found his way out of the forest. His mind still thinking of the maiden. He got on his horse and slowly riding into the sunset. He thought more and more. He thought "That's strange I thought they had the ability to heal themselves" then he realized what had happened and what it meant. Smiling he continued on his way.
