It took him months of work with this song, so he could know it well and get to do it using his style. If we are talking about Traditional Scottish sports then it’s the smartest to look at the Highlands Games, which is an annual one-day event with various sports. Now let’s talk about some of those sports.

Caber Toss

The purpose of the sport is to lift, run with and toss a full length log so it is close to standing up straight, which is called the 12 hour position.

Shot put

With this sport you have to throw a stone somewhere around 20 - 26 lbs in weight as far away as possible, this can either be from a standing position or with a short run-up to the toe board.

Tug O’War

For this sport 16 men compete in teams of 8 to pull their opposite number across the line.

Weight for height

For this sport, sporters have to throw a weight over a raised bar. The object that is thrown is a weight of 56 lbs with a handle, during a competition the bar is raised after every turn so competitors are eliminated one by one.

Hammer throw

With this event men and women have to throw a hammer, which is a heavy ball on a wooden pole, as far away as possible, they have to do this by twirling the hammer above their head and then throw it away.

Hello everyone it is I! Your agent leader! I come to thee with a tutorial on how to do at home science experiments.

Storm in an eruption

The materials you will need;

Shaving Cream

A large Glass

Water

Food coloring

A spoon

What to do;

You fill the glass with half a cup of water

Put shaving cream at the top up to 3/4

Use a spoon or your finger to make the top of the cup flat.

Add about 10 drops of food coloring and once it gets to heavy on the shaving cream and it falls you will see the "storm"

Dry Erase

Materials;

A glass plate, bowl, or picture frame

Water

Dry erase marker

Instructions

Draw a picture on a glass (a sticker is a good way to go)

Pour water onto the plate, or into a bowl

Stir water around the picture to make it move

Rainbow in a glass

Materials;

Water

Mug

5 cups

Tablespoon

Clear glass

Dropper or pipette

Skittles

Instructions

Seperate the skittles -> 2 red, 4 orange, 6 yellow, 8 green, 10 purple

Heat a cup in the microwave for a minute. Be careful if it's hot!

Put 2 spoons of hot water in each skittles

Stir til the skittles dissolve and its room temperature

With a dropper get the cups and put them in a glass that's clear and start with the purple at the bottom, then green, yellow, orange, and red.

Greetings fellow earthlings, it is I, Anne, and welcome to my part of this week's Chronicles! Today I'll be sharing the basics on how to make a simple editing you can do from your phone. Without further ado, let's get right in to it!

Be wary that what I'm writing is my personal preference and opinion. Don't attack me ;-;

We have to first off know that there are two types of edits: there's a photo edit and there's a video edit. So... What is an edit?

A photo edit is when you've manipulated one or multiple photos (in one) to usually create a fancy collage or a fancy image. I'll go a little more in depth on photo edits since I have experience in making them.

A video edit is when you've arranged a series of small videos and/or photos using transitions and filters in one bigger video that's typically a few seconds long.

First, let's take a look at photo edits.

Apps to use:

I primary use Picsart as it's simple, easy to figure out, and provides many options for your photos. It should be free in your local app store. I also occasionally use the app Canvas which is also free in your local app store. Some other apps you can use are Pixlr & Adobe Photoshop Express.

When making a photo edit, I prefer to go with an"aesthetically pleasing collage". Here are the steps I take:

1. Choose a background (Picsart offers free pictures for you, or you can pick from your own photos.)

2. Choose your photos and/or stickers (Edit, erase and crop your pictures however you'd like, you can edit each picture individually. In the icon bar, there's the option "Stickers". There you can find lots of fun pre-made (per say) photos for you to use.)

3. Organize your photos and/or stickers however you'd like (So simply just arrange then to create your edit.)

4. Filters and details (Add filters, cool and fun effects etc. Details can also include text, quotes, and other little aesthetically pleasing stickers.)

And you're done! Of course there are other things you can make in Picsart to make your photos look even cooler, don't make me stop you. But the next you would do the basic save image and maybe even share them if you're up for it!

Next, let's take a look at video edits.

I'm not experienced in making video edits, so I won't be able to give specific steps. I'll try tho ;-;

Apps to use:

One app I see people commonly used is called Videostar. It's a fairly simple app that free in only the Apple app store. But some other similar apps you can use are Funimate (free) and Video Editor & Star Maker,Magic Effects-MagoVideo (free).

History

The oldest known body of pottery was during the Neolithic revolution, which was around 10,000 years ago, when lifestyles in the Middle East and Africa were transitioning from nomadic gatherers and hunters to farmers. They were already using baskets to hold the crops and fruits but those couldn't hold liquids. So they needed to find a material that held the liquids but also be readily available, inexpensive, pliable enough to shape and light enough to carry. That material was clay, it hit all the criteria and there was a lot of it in that specific area.

It's not exactly known when the pottery wheel was brought into play, but it is known that at the beginning of the Bronze Age, around 3000 B.C., potters were using a slow wheel. This was a simple platform that they could turn instead of getting up and walking around the pot as they were working on it. Coming the next century the fast wheel was used to make pots. The fast wheel is close to what is used today as it was a platform that spun on an axle and when electricity was added you have, like stated before, the pottery wheel that is used today.

How to do it at home

Now onto how you can do pottery at home. There are various techniques to make a pot and it depends on what you have in your house.

Tools

Clay (air-dry or oven)

Flat surface to make the pot on

Oven (if needed)

Any tools to decorate, like knives, forks cookie cutters etc.

Instructions

In this small tutorial I’ll be talking about the technique that is called pinch pottery. With this technique you basically pinch the clay into the desired form. This is seen as the easiest form of pottery, although the end-result can be a bit uneven.

Step 1: Take your clay and roll it into a ball

Step 2: Pinch all the way to the bottom

Step 3: Continue to pinch from the bottom out to the width you want your cup or bowl to be.

Step 4: Pinch all the way out to the desired size and height

Step 5: Lightly smooth out the outside with your fingers

Step 6: Let the clay dry out either by air-drying it or using an oven

Small note for the last step, this has to do with the kind of clay you’re using, so make sure to check the instructions on the package to see how you need to dry your clay.

Quick facts about the first computer

Technology..we use it on a daily basis. Are you aware of when the first computer appeared? How it looked like? It's features? If not, read this part below to discover and learn more about it!

Invention

It is really hard to tell when the first computer was invented, since the concept is very old and there is many types and uses for a computer. The first mechanical computer was, however, invented in 1822 by Charles Baggage. It was called the Difference Engine and could calculate numbers and print them. The same man created the Analytic Engine, in 1837. This one used arithmetical logic.

Appearance

The computer back then is no where near to what it looks like now. It was, first of all, gigantic, and didn't even hold into a box like they did afterwards. You could see the bunch of circuits of metal linked together and lots of disks and buttons. It was not really practical!

First computer company

The first computer company was founded in 1949 and was called Electronic Controls Company. However, the first computer that was ever sold was created in 1942, but sold in 1950 to a mathematician. Computers were not for everybody and didn't serve in playing games like most people use them for nowadays. They were practical instruments to help with calculations, mostly. Therefore, a regular citizen wouldn't own one at home.
