Hey lovelies!

I didn't post in a reaaaaally long time but this challenge seems cool, especially the one for today and while I don't really have time for posting, I wanted to relax a bit and create a lil aesthetic post to keep my mind busy and maybe get y'all to read some books ^^ (also redone cuz my drafts went boom)

Yes, books. Because while I read that usually happens on my phone because i have it always at me and can read a lot anywhere I go or if I just have to wait for someone. So my app lets me highlight some stuff and saves it at each book, so yupp, I guess those are my quotes. Today I choose two books and while I won't do any spoilers, I encourage you to read these because both are LGBT+ and aweeeeeesome.

I won't talk about books tho, it will be long enough anyways sozzz, but here we go:

With this quote I always remind my heart to allow myself to feel. It's amazingly sad how true this is, but it actually makes me not waste time around blocking out feelings. We can experience love and I taught myself not to fear anymore to feel, even if it's pain or sorrow and destroys me. I won't waste a minute of my life not allowing myself to feel everything that makes me ME, thus I'm really thankful that I did read this book and found this quote. It helped me not to run away from my own heart, for my own sake.

This quote on the other hand, while it can only mean for one to rationalize, it has a more deeper meaning to me. Of course if you read the book/watch the movie you find out what it means for the characters, but for me it's about going with a secret to the grave or making a move. Growing up gay in a homophobic environment I was unable to be myself, so maybe this is a bit stretched for this quote, but I feel like it sorta made me realize that I don't wanna die being fake, ed for everything that I'm not. So I started to be me more and more, day by day. I'd rather speak the truth, although I it that fears stop me a lot of times from this, but i'm optimistic about it and working on it!

This one is like a ticking clock, waking me up every morning. The importance of time is unspeakable, and I always feel like I never have enough time to be me, to leave a mark on people's life. I don't want to change the world, but if I would... well done, future me! Anyways, I feel like running out of time is common to everyone, and it makes me feel soooo guilty about every time i procastinated and didn't do at least something worthy of my time. I mean, you know what they say, time is money. The more deeper and personal meaning is that we build memories over time, and time ing, fading away a memory, acknowledging how far away those times were when we gathered them makes us nostalgic and wanting to relive everything, it also means suffering if we lost someone who was in that piece of memory, or we miss our old selves/lives... anyways, I stopped wasting too much time thinking about my past, so let's focus on making every second count!

This makes me feel like I need to have an impact on people, like I mentioned before. I want people, even if not all of them, but some friends to on stories about me to their friends/family, or even strangers... I basically gave my umbrella once to someone and got soaked. She might not know my name, but my person might be ed always by her, by saving her day that day, because she seemed to hurry but didnt go out in the rain and stayed sheltered somewhere where i spotted her, and idk I'm not a big altruist but something told me that I have to do this, so I consider it pretty random but I'm low key proud of it. Also, this quote reminds me of what Banksy said: “I mean, they say you die twice. One time when you stop breathing and a second time, a bit later on, when somebody says your name for the last time.”

Okay so basic knowledge: the character that says these knows that he is gonna die that day 100% (I mean, look at the books name anyways duuuh). So here are these two quotes remindig me again. Time. Is. Limited. We never know when we die, and if we'd know, we sure as hell would spend it as awesome as we could. I mean we don't have to drop all the future plans we have right now, but this quote reminds us to live to the fullest, to break out of our skin from time to time because playing the "safe game" won't save us more time. Be you, be awesome and live! Run the f*cking race and be proud of it later if anything happens. Be ed as the one who not just existed, but lived. This also helped me realize that I gotta stop wasting my time around, and while I do sleep enough here and then I still do a lots of things just because I grab those oportunities instead of doing nothing with my life.

Well this is close to the previous one, at least for me. Because we gotta take the risks, peeps, otherwise we will just rot there in excelent condition and missing out on life. I just realized that most of my quotes were about living life and not losing time, but that means these have the most impact on me. Also yeah, this quote is told by that John guy, it is just quoted in the book too lel. We are built to interact, to live, to achieve our maximum capacity in the fields we enjoy or push ourselves to because we can be amazing! Humans can be amazing, as much as we get f*cked up by the actions of some of them, you can be the difference. One of those people who changes the others. Stay safe, but take risks. Our moms didn't keep us 9 months in that cute belly just so we can waste life away. Go kick ass!

Well, that's all I guess. Sorry if it was long or if I was accentuating the whole point too much, but I think it's important to apreciate life as it is, to feel, to live, to not waste time. Reading these books was definitely not a waste of my time, so I suggest y'all to read them too, even if you saw the movie of the first one. Reading is skajdaskdnsjhbjwsdakkj <- awesome
