Labeling

Can people stop acting like labeling yourself is bad? Yeah, a person doesn’t have to label themselves as something. It’s a personal choice. I’m tired of people saying things like “stop trying to label yourself” or something. Like, in this discord server I’m in someone posted something that they needed help with. Someone else responded to it basically saying that the person should just like who they like and stop trying to label themselves. It came off as very hostile and demanding as if they don’t have the right to label themselves. I get that unnecessary stress comes with labeling yourself. Us humans experience complex emotions and it’s sometimes frustrating when you’re trying to figure out what they mean and stuff and you get nowhere. Even so, labeling is a personal choice no one has the right to tell someone to not label themselves.
