The Journalist makes up a team of around 14 and we are the second creative writing team that works on this amino. The other team is Editors, be sure to check out that post this week as well, if you are interested! Although being another creative writing team, we are indeed, much different to the editors team. And I’ll explain how

What do we do?

The journalists work on two things each week. Our teams rotate in a way that ultimately works together, but without teamwork, we would never be able to run smoothly. We work every week to bring you these Takeovers that fall under the tag of #Takeover, if you ever want to read back to see our past Takeovers. The way we run this is, each week we will pick a theme for the take over I.E Staff Teams and then come up with 7 topics in that theme, as you will see this week.

We then also work on the LGBT+ Chronicles newsletter that comes out every Sunday, if you missed the last one you can find it here

LGBT+ Chronicles XCIC

The way we run this is similar, each week we will pick 7 topics to write about and no it does not have to be all LGBT related otherwise we would run out of ideas. We try to keep a wide base of ideas so there is a little bit of everything, including short stories and poems. We then write 1 part each and the Chronicles is built up this way and eventually we have a whole new article
