It's perfectly fine to be sensitive and obviously there's a difference between being sensitive and full on acting immature just because you didn't get your way regarding a situation. If you're sensitive and you cry easily, what's the problem?
If you're a little kid and you didn't get a "boy toy" in the happy meal that your parents ordered and you throw a hissy fit, obviously that's straight up immature. But we are talking about a child so it's normal for kids to overreact, I mean for Christ's sake if they fall they immediately start howling even if they didn't get hurt.

It's good to show your emotions instead of hiding it and I'm honestly tired of the "hey, be a man!" quote when a guy is crying because something happened to them. Everyone has emotions believe it or not and hiding your emotions will do damage to your mental health and overall well being. It's normal to feel mad, sad, happy, whatever.
Letting your child grow up knowing that it's okay to be upset is honestly good. Making your child think it's okay to hold your emotions within themselves while at the same time making themselves feel bad, is not. If you imply that crying = bad then obviously your child will think negatively of crying. If they cannot talk to you and express their feelings then what are you even doing?

Even if you're displaying happy tears because you just got married and you're deemed to be "really sensitive"... literally what is the harm? You're happy and that's all that matters. Nobody should feel awkward or uncomfortable when displaying their emotions and if you make fun of someone just because they're upset over something that you in particular don't understand, let them be. People experience things differently.
I may not personally understand what it's like to be sensitive regarding sadness, but I do understand what it's like to get angry quickly. I had to work on the way I acted when I got mad and now it's very easy for me to stay calm. It's definitely okay to be vocal about your frustration, venting to others is a great way for you to feel some relief.

Being sensitive doesn't necessarily mean you're a cry baby or something of the sort, you're just human.

Thank gosh you got this topic out. In real life I am sensitive on the inside, and literal cry baby I am also 22 I learned to cry less, and be more expressive.
I still struggle expressing myself emotionally. Because I am struggling a bunch on the inside as everyone else. And I want to feel validated not invalidated.
I am hoping other younger people’s feelings are validated no matter if they’re being too sensitive.

I mean there’s being sensitive. and there’s being too sensitive. Being sensitive in general is perfectly fine, but a person shouldn’t be getting upset over the smallest things.
Yeah I mean I'm not trying to justify being too sensitive at all, there is of course a healthy level towards everything and I definitely think there could be times where being too overly sensitive is a bad thing but this post is just mainly being sensitive in general

Actually that’s the bitter truth I have problem with excessive crying, and it’s not necessarily bad, or me being too emotional. I get easily depressive and moody it’s hard to control my emotions, either manage them.
