I was wondering,,, this year I really want to go to a pride parade, and it’ll be my first year. But is it advised to go there? I’m only 14 and of course, if I go, I’ll go with a friend and maybe a parent, but I just want to know from someone who’s been to one before. Is it fun for me to? Is it safe for me to?

there’s pride parades where they have a section for teens. it’s alcohol/drug-free, there’s no highly sexual things, and still fun! it all depends on who you go with and what makes you feel more comfortable. my friend went when she was 13 and loved it. it’s a great way for you to truly feel accepted and understood, i would recommend going with close friends/family.
