My lovely Swablu, I will forever miss your sweet songs in the mornings that would wake me from my slumber. The best alarm I could ever wake up to. I’ll miss your sweet little chirps and dances. I’ll miss the sound of your wings flapping as you flutter about. I’ll miss all of it. My home will sound much quieter now that you’re gone, and I don’t anticipate the silence.

I hope, wherever you may be, that you’re flying freely and happily, eating all the millet you could ask for. I hope you have all your favorite toys and mirrors you fondly loved while being in my care. I hope you have the best afterlife a budgie could have <3 You deserve it, after all.
