I miss you

You’ve missed over a year

and I haven’t remained stagnent

it seems we’ve both grown

into what? I can’t imagine

Are we still the same people

who met that fateful day?

I know I’m not

but who is to say?

I see you grow and change

from miles away

but I can still picture

how we met on that cool fall day

How funny it all is

looking back

we still love the same

perhaps even more so than that
