I touch my hand with my fingers,

they feel different somehow,

like they aren't my own,

like they are someone else's,

someone I don't know,

or maybe someone I know very well,

they feel like me,

but not the me I know,

the me he left me as,

I miss his touch,

his happiness,

his pure heart,

his closeness,

I miss his entire being,

I miss feeling our souls entwined,

like they were dancing together,

and had no other care in the world,

I miss his sweet smile he put on when he

saw me,

the hug he'd give me when I looked upset,

the things he'd whisper in my ear to make me

laugh,

I miss it all,

the distance,

is the ending of the world,

my entire world,

collapses without him,

and he left it in ruins,

and I don't know how to fix it,

I don't know how to fix me.
